Sailing Instructions
Team Event: Teams will be composed of 3 boats and races will be one team versus another.
Team sailing is unique. Few MC sailors have experienced it. After a season of doing our best to beat each other, coming together as a team to race against competing teams is special. Competitors become teammates with all the camaraderie that accompanies events like golf's Ryder Cup.
Entry Fees and Registration: $65 per boat. Saturday lunch for the Skipper is included in registration.

Lake Harriet Yacht Club invites you to the 70th Annual Die Hard Regatta!
Lake Harriet is nestled in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and surrounded by public park; recreational motorboats are prohibited, creating ideal conditions for fast sailing and an excellent dinghy regatta venue. While Lake Harriet is small, we boast two of the most active racing fleets in the country with over 25 active MC scows and 11 Melges 15’s. We sail short, 30-minute races, and lots of them.

Water in the mooring area is between 10-20 feet deep. The bottom is a mixture of sand and mud with some weeds. If mooring in the lake, trailers may be kept in the parking lot.
