LHYC is a volunteer run organization. It’s amazing what great things happen when people with a passion for sailing and racing put their heads and hands together! Here are some great opportunities:
- Partner with a member on a motorized safety boat during races, enjoy the races up close
- Assist the racing judge during races, a great way to learn about sailboat racing!
- Help those with disabilities to enjoy sailing
- Help fix boats & equipment, invent new gear
- Help maintain our web site
- Take photographs of sailors in action
- Create T-shirts, hats or other merchandise designs
- Exercise your creativity on posters for our display cases at the lake
- Assemble our annual yearbook with photos, artwork, and stories from the year
- Host a party or picnic
As a new or potential member, volunteering is a great way to meet the club members and experience club racing, sailing, and events.
