Gen. Charles McCormick Reeve (1847-1947) was an active member of the Minnetonka Yacht Club and an early supporter of LHYC. He had the first sailboat (Oriole) on Lake Harriet in the 1870's, well before the establishment of the Lake Harriet Yacht Club. He donated several trophies to the club and this series is in memory of his father.
